Artyarns: Ultra Bulky-"Created with 12 strands of ultrafine merino, "Ultrabulky" is a fabulous wool that's not itchy or susceptible to pilling."

On Line: Paloma Soft-"This is a plied bulky of 60% acrylic and 40% nylon. This soft, fuzzy yarn is wrapped with a contrasting silky ply. It is suitable for sweaters and accessories for babies and children."

Rowan: Kid Silk Haze Stripe: The color combinations are designed by Kaffe Fassett. This is a self-striping blend of mohair and silk.

Juniper Moon: Chadwick, Findley, Willa

Lana Grossa: Chiara- This gorgeous blend of superkid mohair contains generous amounts of rayon plus a touch of nylon. It will knit or crochet superbly in shawls, scarves, sweaters, tops, hats & gloves all year round.

Sirdar: Squiggle-This Super Chunky is machine washable in bright colorways. "This quick-to-knit yarn with its marbled effect is a good choice for heavy jackets, bulky sweaters, baggie purses, afghans, ponchos and wraps."

Viking: Balder-100% wool bulky weight. Great for all sorts of garments.

Yarn Boutique Bucks

As most of you know, our Point of Sale system is very robust and it allows us to keep track of what you purchase: brands, color numbers, quantities, dates and totals. With our system, we can gather info for a reward program without punch cards.

Each quarter you will be eligible to earn Yarn Boutique Bucks (YBB’s) once your total purchases are over $250. Once they meet that threshold, you will receive a 2% reward. Once you have picked up your card, you do not have to bring it in to have it reloaded; this will be done by Brett “the computer guy”.

You will also receive 1 YBB for each class you take at Yarn Boutique.

For example, if you have if you purchased $378. at the store, you have earned $7.56. We will then round to the nearest dollar so your YBB’s card will have a value of $8.

If you also took 2 classes at Yarn Boutique, that gives you 2 additional YBB’s. So your total value for that quarter will $10 YBB’s.

Some items do not contribute to your total purchases at Yarn Boutique and they are: Gift cards, repairs, finishing work, completed garments, shipping costs, Pheasant Hill WoodWorks products, Creations by Lana and the cost of classes.

We are planning on adding additional ways to earn YBB’s and some fun ways to spend your “bucks” besides ordinary purchases. We are open to suggestions on this.

The only things that cannot be purchased with YBB’s are repairs, finishing work, completed garments and any “Pheasant Hill Wood Works” products.

The YBB’s do not expire and will be reloaded quarterly.

So the next time you stop in, check to see if you have earned any Yarn Boutique Bucks!
